How to find Halfmoon beach

It´s located in the state of Karnataka, just south of Goa, in India. The nearest town is Gokarna. There are frequent buses from Goa to Gokarna. It takes 4-5 hours. Since the early nineties it has become a popular place for those who appreciate a quiet atmosphere by the ocean.

The easiest way to get to Halfmoon beach is by boat from Gokarna. It shouldn´t cost more than 75 Rs per person. The journey takes about half an hour.

To walk to Halfmoon beach is a breathtaking experience of nature. The hike is a bit tough but the scenery is magnificent. From Om beach it takes about 20 minutes.
